• Bug Fix: Change Due & Amount Tendered now display correctly on receipts and reports.

• New: Choose when Age Verification runs — at the beginning or end of a sale.
  ⚠ Note: This setting has been reset for all accounts. Go to Account Settings → Budtender Settings to re-enable it.

• New: Add order notes in the POS for special instructions or reminders.

📢 Important Notice Regarding July 17th Update

We want to keep you informed about an issue that affected reporting after our July 17th update:

As part of that update, we used AI to optimize all of our reports. Unfortunately, after the release, many reports began displaying inaccurate data.

Over the past week, our team has been systematically reviewing, repairing, and rebuilding each report to ensure accuracy and consistency.

✅ As of today, July 25th, all reports have been updated and are now running correctly and in agreement with one another.

🔎 Action Needed:
If you ran or exported any reports between July 17th and July 25th, please review them again to confirm accuracy.

✅ Split Payments & Detailed Payment Tracking
You can now accept split payments — for example, part cash and part card — all in a single transaction. We’ve also expanded payment tracking so you can clearly see how each order was paid, helping with reconciliation and reporting.

• 💵 Cash Payment: Enter the cash amount tendered, and the system will automatically calculate and display any change due.

• 💳 Debit Payment: Process the full order amount as a debit card charge, with quick options to round to the nearest $1, $5, or $10.

• 💵➕💳 Split Payment: Combine cash and debit in a single transaction. Enter how much is paid in cash and how much by debit; the system ensures totals match and shows if any change is due.
